Er-Fahren working group

Under certain conditions, the Er-Fahren working group of Umverteilen! Stiftung für eine, solidarische Welt, supports group trips for young people to Turkey, including a stay at Afacan. In certain cases it is also possible to receive funding for groups from Germany and Turkey to come together at Afacan.

Funding from other sources


The children’s and young people’s program of the German federal government (KJP) KJP – the children’s and young people’s program of the German federal government and equivalent programs on the state level sponsor international youth work. Youth in Action
Information on European Union funding for youth exchanges can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/youth/youth-in-action-programme/doc78_en.htm. The EU has a preference for multilateral exchanges, although binational programs are also possible.

Comenius
Comenius, the EU program for schools, also funds mostly multilateral school exchange programs (with visits in both directions). Occasionally bilateral school partnerships with Turkey are also sponsored in conjunction with “foreign language” projects. Schulen: Partner der Zukunft
The initiative Schulen: Partner der Zukunft of the German Foreign Office offers small grants for bilateral school partnerships with Turkey, provided that German is taught at the Turkish school. www.kmk-pad.org/de/schulpartnerschaften/initiative-schulen-partner-der-zukunft (in German).
